To celebrate the centenary of the most famous motorsport endurance event, the Museum of the 24 Hours of Le Mans gathered eighty cars that have participated to the race, among them about sixty winners. This was the opportunity to see (again) mythical cars like the 1969 Ford GT40 (Jacky Ickx / Jackie Oliver) – marked by Jacky Ickx’s protest during the start of the race -, the 1970 Porsche 917K (Hans Hermann / Richard Attwood) – the first of the nineteen victories (so far) of Porsche at Le Mans– or the Audi R8 (Emanuele Pirro / Tom Kristensen / Frank Biela) which ruled Le Mans between 2000 and 2002.
